Cookie Policy
Last updated: Early access draft
This is placeholder text for early access. It has not been reviewed by counsel and will be replaced with final legal terms before general availability.
This policy explains how Aptelor uses cookies and similar technologies on aptelor.com.
1. What cookies are
Small files stored on your device that help a site function, remember preferences, and understand usage.
2. Types we use
- Strictly necessary — authentication/session, security, load balancing. Required for the Service to work (e.g. our auth provider's session cookies). Cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember preferences (e.g. theme).
- Analytics — we use privacy-conscious product analytics (PostHog) to understand feature usage and improve the Service. We identify you by an internal account id, never by name or email, and we do not use session recording or automatic click/input capture — only specific named product events (e.g. signing up, posting a job, accepting an offer). This respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- Third-party — set by providers we use, e.g. Clerk (auth) and Calendly (demo scheduling).
We currently do not use advertising/targeting cookies.
3. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break the Service. We do not currently show a cookie-consent banner; cookie preferences — including analytics, via your browser's Do Not Track setting — are managed through your browser settings.
4. Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new date.
